1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your purchase of products through the Echidna Cams online store at echidnacams.com (the Store). They apply to all retail purchases of hardware, accessories, and downloadable resources made through the Store.
These terms do not govern the SituAItional Awareness as a Service (SAaaS) subscription platform. If you subscribe to Echidna's SAaaS service, your rights and obligations are set out in the Echidna Cams Service & Licence Agreement, which you will be required to accept before your service is activated.
By placing an order through the Store, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Who We Are
Echidna Cams Pty Ltd (ABN 33 672 138 751) operates this Store. We are an Australian company based in North Rocks, NSW.

3. Orders and Payment
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. GST will be added at checkout where applicable.
Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received in full. For approved trade account holders purchasing via purchase order, orders are not confirmed until payment has been received in full prior to fulfilment.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion. If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will issue a full refund.
When you place an order, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that purchases through the retail store are for your own operational or personal use and not for commercial resale.
4. Trade Accounts and Purchase Orders
Approved trade account holders may place orders using a purchase order. Trade account status is granted at Echidna's discretion following a successful application. Purchase order facilities do not constitute credit terms. Payment is required in full before orders are fulfilled.

5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship within Australia using Australia Post and courier services. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order and your delivery address.
We will provide tracking information once your order has been dispatched. Estimated delivery times are indicative only and are not guaranteed. Echidna Cams is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or other circumstances outside our control.
Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon dispatch.
6. Hardware Leasing
Certain Echidna hardware — including the Echidna Unit and Echidna Burrow — is not available for outright purchase. These items are provided on a lease basis as part of an active SAaaS subscription and must be returned upon cancellation of the service. Leased hardware remains the property of Echidna Cams Pty Ltd at all times.
Items available for outright purchase are clearly identified in the Store.
7. Returns and Refunds
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at admin@echidnacams.com and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Change of mind returns are not accepted on hardware or accessories given the nature of the products.
Downloadable resources (including 3D print files) are non-refundable once downloaded.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these terms. If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If a product has a minor failure, we may repair or replace it.
8. Warranties
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In addition to your statutory rights, Echidna Cams will repair or replace any hardware found to be defective due to manufacturing fault within 12 months of purchase, subject to assessment.
Warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, modification, or failure to follow installation instructions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Store — including product descriptions, images, guides, and downloadable resources — is the intellectual property of Echidna Cams Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our written permission.
Downloadable resources provided through the Store, including 3D print files, are licensed for personal and operational use only. They may not be resold or redistributed.
Echidna Cams' names, logos, product and service names, designs, and the SituAItional Awareness trademark are the property of Echidna Cams Pty Ltd. You must not use these without our prior written permission.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may only use the Store for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Store for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Violate any applicable Australian federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Echidna Cams or any third party.
- Transmit false, misleading, or deceptive information.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Store or its related systems.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect personal information of other users.
- Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Store without our written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Store at any time if we determine you have violated these terms.
11. Third Party Links
The Store may contain links to third party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party sites. Accessing third party sites is at your own risk. We recommend reviewing the privacy and terms policies of any third party site before engaging with it.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Echidna Cams' liability for any claim arising from a purchase through the Store is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our products.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Echidna Cams Pty Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any losses, damages, liabilities, or claims — including reasonable legal costs — arising from your breach of these Terms of Service, your violation of any applicable law, or your use of the Store.
We will notify you promptly of any such claim. We may manage the defence of any claim at your expense but will not settle any claim requiring obligations from you without your prior consent.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at echidnacams.com/policies/privacy-policy.
15. Entire Agreement and Waiver
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Echidna Cams Pty Ltd with respect to your use of the Store and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings.
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the Store after any update constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of any material changes in accordance with applicable law.
