Our Commitment

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase from the Echidna Cams store. This policy sets out your rights and our obligations when it comes to returns, refunds, and exchanges.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at admin@echidnacams.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Change of Mind

We do not accept change of mind returns on hardware or accessories outside the 30-day return window. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

Downloadable Resources

Downloadable resources, including 3D print files, are non-refundable once the download has been accessed.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at admin@echidnacams.com if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the replacement item.

Hardware Under Warranty

Echidna Cams hardware is warranted against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, contact us at admin@echidnacams.com with your order number and details of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange repair or replacement as appropriate.

Warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow installation instructions.

Leased Hardware

Echidna Units and Echidna Burrows are provided on a lease basis as part of an active SAaaS subscription and are not available for outright purchase. Return and end-of-service obligations for leased hardware are governed by your Service & Licence Agreement.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at admin@echidnacams.com.
